I have never heard of Wix or use Wix before so when I first started, I didn't know which page to choose. I even tried to search the name in the search box on Wix, but, still, the page didn't show up. So, I ended up choosing the page you are looking at right now. This Wix page is for my English W131 class and the rhetorical context of my multimodal discourse is to share and target audiences that are interested in music. Other than someone who is interested in music, anyone is welcome to read. For those that are interested in music, I have a film review page which is on the second tab. It goes over Quincy Jones's childhood and his love for music. On the third tab, there is the Immersion Experience page. It is about how music affects me while listening to the boy band group. It also goes a little bit over how music can heal a person. I was having a hard time figuring out where I can add images, hyperlinks, and all sorts.

On my Wix page, there are options at the top of the page listed as Home, Film Review, Immersion Experience, which has a picture of my notes and picture and under the Immersion Experience, it has a drop-down button option listed as Immersion Experience Narrative which is more about my experience. The last button is Reflection. My Multi-Modal Discourse page is blue because I feel like as people will read on this page, it will give the feelings of calmness. (hyperlink) My Immersion Experience Narrative is red on the side and white in between letters so that anyone reading this can see it clearly. I did do some changes to the font on the side and on other pages on this website. The font colors are black and if the color is other than black, it should stand out. Other than the font color red, blue, or bold it's mostly black.

As for my (hyperlink) home page, it goes in order from a picture of the mic which clearly shows that this website is about music and anyone can choose to scroll down to film review all the way down to Immersion Experience, but after that, you have to click on the drop-down options under Immersion Experience to view my Immersion Experience Narrative. The same goes for the Multi-Modal Discourse and Reflection (hyperlink) page.

In my Immersion Experience, I used some pull-out-quotes on the side as well as pictures, the font and the picture should be bigger than the font on the passage. The reason why the font is bigger than the is so that that quote is in the paragraph next to it. The picture on the side is to help the reader visualize the passage next to it. 

​

Figuring out how to add text and images is challenging for me. I was lost but after I figure out where to find all the text, color, and images, it was pretty fun. I actually enjoyed adding images and color to the background on my Wix page.
